Nova 401(k) Associates is a vibrant and growing national third party, non-producing administration firm. They are hiring a Special Projects Team Account Manager to maintain a case load of clients, guide them through completion of prior year work, and cultivate existing client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain case load of clients which would be a mix of current clients and new clients with missed prior year annual administration work
- Consult and guide clients through completion of all prior year work, including: Monitoring project progress and ensuring all work is completed timely, Assisting and participating in client calls regarding outstanding requirements, timelines, and deliverables, Coordinating with internal teams to efficiently execute corrective actions and bring plans into compliance, Cultivating existing client relationships, and Communicating with principals, clients, financial advisors, attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals on plans involved with special project work
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of 401(k) plan administration and consulting experience
- ERPA (Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation required, or the ability and commitment to obtain the credential within a specified timeframe. Nova provides organizational support, study resources, and dedicated study time to assist employees in achieving and maintaining these professional credentials required
- Superior knowledge of ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy and 401(a)(4) non-discrimination testing
- Superior knowledge of 401(a)4 and controlled group testing; mergers and acquisitions experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
- Ability to proactively and independently manage a book of business
