Project Manager

MedscapeLIVE!, a Medscape Company, is hiring a Project Manager to lead broadcast projects through the Medical/Legal/Regulatory process from sale to launch. The role manages submissions, quality control, project timelines, and coordination with internal teams to deliver digital and event materials.

Responsibilities:

• Successfully manage projects from sale to launch
• Prepare/edit documents required for submission and approval through various pharmaceutical regulatory processes
• Thorough editorial and correctness QC of all submission materials
• Coordinate with Account, Creative, Technology, and Event teams in the execution of projects
• Serve as primary point of contact for project-related requests
• Manage timelines for all project deliverables
• Use project management software to track projects and provide frequent status updates
• Use online submissions systems to upload pieces, download comments, tag references, and track progress
• Interpret and address Medical/Legal/Regulatory comments
• Review live websites, HTML files, and videos to confirm that they match approved versions

Requirements:

• The Project Manager will lead Medscape's broadcasts projects through the Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) process from sale to launch
• This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual that wants to take a hands-on approach in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical advertising or equivalent fast-paced environment
• Must have solid Microsoft Office experience especially related to Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong organizational, analytical skills, and strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to multitask, adjust priorities, meet deadlines, and successfully operate in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to follow through on and successfully execute tasks while adhering to specified quality standards
• Excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Possess proactive mindset to seek information to create effective solutions
• Proven ability to build rapport while providing superior service and maintaining positive relationships with internal teams and external vendors/contacts
• Ability to work well independently and as a team member
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Have a good understanding of how to motivate people and to get to the heart of the matter
• Must have a professional attitude and be able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization
• Possess a high comfort level with technology, technical processes, and digital materials
• Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and project management software a plus
