Marketing & Sales Manager

C. Harris Studio is a wedding photography and videography studio serving South Asian couples and families. The Sales & Marketing Manager will own the full client journey by generating leads through marketing, managing partnerships and community outreach, converting inquiries into consultations, and closing bookings for multi-day wedding coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and run paid ads on Meta (Instagram and Facebook) targeting engaged South Asian couples in metro Atlanta, working within a monthly budget
• Manage our Instagram and TikTok content calendar: Reels, wedding highlights, behind-the-scenes and client stories, in partnership with our photo and video team
• Keep our Showit website and inquiry forms up to date, with fresh galleries, packages and clear calls to action
• Build our presence on wedding directories and listings (for example, The Knot, WeddingWire, Shaadi-focused and South Asian wedding blogs) and submit weddings for publication
• Run email and text campaigns to past inquiries, engaged couples and families who haven't booked yet
• Track where every lead comes from and report cost per lead and cost per booking
• Build relationships with Atlanta South Asian wedding planners, decorators, venues, DJs, makeup artists and mehndi artists
• Create a referral program for vendor partners and past clients
• Represent the studio at bridal shows, styled shoots and community events (occasional, in person in the Atlanta area)
• Respond to every new inquiry within a set window (for example, 2 business hours) by email, text, Instagram DM and WhatsApp
• Run discovery and consultation calls on Zoom or phone, often with the couple and their parents together
• Understand each celebration — number of days, guest count, venues, traditions — and match the right photo and video coverage
• Build custom proposals for multi-day packages and present add-ons such as drone, same-day edits, albums, engagement sessions and extra shooters
• Follow up consistently through family decision-making, negotiate within approved pricing, and close to signed contract and retainer
• Keep every lead, call and status up to date in our CRM (for example, HoneyBook, Dubsado or Studio Ninja)
• Report weekly on leads by source, consultations booked, close rate, revenue booked and ad spend
• Refine sales scripts, email templates and our pricing presentation
• Later: research and open new markets in New York, California and international destinations

Requirements:

• 2+ years in sales, marketing or both, with a track record of results — ideally in weddings, events, hospitality, luxury retail or another high-ticket service
• Experience closing packages in the $5,000+ range and handling price objections with confidence
• Hands-on experience running Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads, including audiences, budgets and reading results
• Strong social media skills: planning content, writing captions and growing an engaged Instagram audience
• Strong knowledge of South Asian wedding traditions and multi-day event flow (Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Nepali, and fusion weddings)
• Comfortable speaking with both couples and parents, and navigating family decision-making with respect and patience
• Excellent written and spoken English; polished, warm communication style
• Self-motivated and organized; able to manage campaigns and a sales pipeline independently while working remotely
• Comfortable with CRM software, Zoom, Google Workspace and basic analytics (Meta Ads Manager, Instagram Insights, Google Analytics)
• Reliable home internet and a quiet, professional space for video calls
• Experience marketing or selling wedding photography, videography or other wedding vendor services
• Fluency in Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati, Bengali, Telugu or Tamil
• Existing network in the Atlanta South Asian wedding and vendor community
• Experience with Showit, Canva, CapCut or similar tools for web and content updates
• Email marketing experience (for example, Flodesk or Mailchimp)
• Familiarity with HoneyBook, Dubsado, Studio Ninja or a similar studio CRM
• Basic understanding of photo and video terms (coverage hours, second shooter, cinematic film, highlight reel, drone)
• Interest in growing into a leadership role and building a sales and marketing team
