Vice President, Marketing & Growth

IndeVets is a veterinary staffing company creating flexible careers for veterinarians and providing reliable talent to veterinary hospitals. The Vice President, Marketing & Growth will lead marketing and growth strategy across veterinarian acquisition, brand development, hospital demand generation, recruiting marketing, content, communications, and marketing operations. The role will build a scalable, measurable growth engine and partner with Recruiting, Sales, and Account Management to accelerate veterinarian acquisition and hospital demand.

Responsibilities:

• Own the strategy for increasing the number of new veterinarians joining IndeVets, identifying and attacking the highest-impact opportunities across the full acquisition funnel
• Build and optimize growth across paid, organic, referral, partnership, lifecycle, and other channels, partnering cross-functionally to improve conversion and remove barriers to growth
• Build the growth model, scorecard, and experimentation roadmap needed to identify bottlenecks, prioritize opportunities, and forecast veterinarian growth by channel and market
• Use data and unit economics to allocate investment toward the highest-return opportunities and build the systems, capabilities, and team required to scale
• Own IndeVets' brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and creative across veterinarians and veterinary hospitals
• Build a distinctive and trusted brand that makes IndeVets one of the most compelling career options for veterinarians and a differentiated partner for hospitals
• Partner with Sales to build scalable demand-generation programs that create qualified hospital opportunities and support geographic expansion
• Improve segmentation, targeting, messaging, and sales enablement to increase Marketing's contribution to pipeline and revenue while keeping hospital demand aligned with veterinarian supply

Requirements:

• An operator mindset with a track record of materially improving core business metrics
• Comfort owning a shared KPI (AIV starts) that sits across Marketing, Recruiting, and Clinical
• Confidence allocating resources at the market level instead of applying one national playbook
• A bias toward action, addressing immediate marketing needs while building the longer-term strategy
• Comfort operating with imperfect data and using judgment to move forward quickly
• A track record of connecting brand and long-term demand-building work to numbers Sales and Recruiting can see
• Experience leading Growth, Marketing, or related function in a high-growth business
• Strong analytical instincts, test-and-learn mindset and comfort running structured experiments
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills
• Experience building and optimizing multi-channel acquisition funnels
• Experience building and developing high-performing teams
• Experience scaling a two-sided marketplace
• A record of materially increasing qualified demand and hires
• Experience driving market-level revenue growth across a multi-market business
• Success building or rebuilding a marketing organization
• Ownership of marketing analytics, attribution, and executive reporting
• Experience with marketplaces, staffing, recruiting, veterinary industry, or another business where supply acquisition is central to growth
• Experience connecting brand investment to measurable growth
• Strong command of both performance marketing and longer-term demand creation
• Success operating across functions where Marketing doesn't control every step of the customer or candidate journey
