Sales Development Representative — ABA Practice Management (Software + Managed Services)

Therapz combines an all-in-one platform with managed services to reduce administrative overhead for ABA practices and other therapy providers. The Sales Development Representative will build the outbound sales motion from scratch, prospecting and qualifying healthcare practices, booking discovery calls, maintaining CRM data, and sharing market insights with product and marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Own outbound prospecting into ABA, SLP, and OT practices — cold email, calls, LinkedIn, conference follow-up
• Build target account lists from NPI/provider registries, state licensure boards, and payer directories
• Prioritize clinics with real billing volume — our model fits established practices better than solo startups
• Qualify inbound leads from our website, content, and paid search
• Lead with operational pain: how many hours a week the team loses to authorizations, denials, and credentialing renewals
• Book and confirm discovery calls; hand off with clean context notes
• Run multi-touch sequences and keep CRM data accurate — activity, stage, next step
• Feed objection patterns and competitive intel back to product and marketing
• Represent Therapz at ABA industry conferences and virtual events

Requirements:

• 1–3 years in SDR/BDR or inside sales, ideally B2B healthcare or tech-enabled services
• Track record against a meetings-booked quota
• Comfort selling a services relationship, not just a software subscription
• Strong written communication — clinic owners read email, they don't answer unknown numbers
• Comfort with CRM and sequencing tools (HubSpot, Apollo, Outreach, or similar)
• Self-directed in a remote, early-stage environment
• Willingness to complete HIPAA training and handle PHI-adjacent conversations appropriately
• Experience selling billing, RCM, or credentialing services to clinical practices
• Familiarity with insurance authorizations, payer contracting, or EHR workflows
• Understanding of the ABA landscape — BCBA/RBT roles, payer dynamics, autism services
• Background in behavioral health, pediatric therapy, or adjacent healthcare operations
