Data Integration Analyst - Healthcare Research - 100% REMOTE

Medix is a staffing and workforce solutions company seeking a Data Integration Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a healthcare research client. The role supports healthcare datasets, data integrations, reporting, workflow automation, Power BI dashboards, and operational maintenance of ETL pipelines and batch jobs in a higher education and healthcare research environment.

Responsibilities:

• Working in a higher education / healthcare research environment
• The primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain healthcare datasets, data integrations, reports, and workflow automation using data from systems such as OnCore, Epic, Salesforce, REDCap, and financial platforms
• This role will be handling feature development and reporting - with tasks like performing report pulls, modeling data within the data warehouse, and building/tweaking Power BI dashboard features based on director requests
• Secondary to that, this role will provide operational support for existing data pipelines - monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the existing automated batch jobs and ETL pipelines
• This role will also be responsible for using Python and Powershell to automate task scheduling and system tasks for batch processing

Requirements:

• We are seeking someone who has professional work experience in Higher Education or Healthcare / Biomedical Research
• Should have some experience extracting data from platforms like Epic, REDCap, OnCore, OpenClinica, Castor EDC, Qualtrics, etc
• Proficient in SQL
• Proficient in Python
• Intermediate to Advanced skills in Powershell or Python for automating batch ETL Processes
