Growth Marketing Associate

Cella, an award-winning consulting, staffing, and managed solutions company for creative, marketing, digital, and proposal development teams, is seeking a Growth Marketing Associate for a client in the digital entertainment and sports/gaming industry. The role focuses on hands-on paid social campaign execution, media buying, budget optimization, testing, performance analytics, and coordination of creative workflows across internal teams and external agencies.

Responsibilities:

• Execute, manage, and optimize hands-on-keys performance marketing campaigns across paid social platforms (Meta, Snap, TikTok, Twitter/X, and Reddit) to drive user acquisition and retention goals
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal integrated marketing teams and external creative agencies. Develop creative briefs, manage workflow loops, oversee ad trafficking internally, and ensure timely delivery of assets
• Implement and track A/B testing strategies, digital media buying optimizations, and bidding approaches (manual and algorithmic) to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS)
• Monitor campaign performance, extract data-driven insights, and collaborate with analytics stakeholders to report actionable recommendations to leadership
• Utilize modern marketing tools and leverage AI-driven strategies where applicable to streamline production, reporting, and operational workflows
• Build, launch, monitor, and optimize daily paid social campaigns directly within ad platforms (specifically Meta Ads Manager, Snapchat Ads, and TikTok Ads Manager). Perform hands-on ad rotation, bid/budget adjustments, and campaign structure management
• Develop comprehensive ad briefs, coordinate with internal brand and product teams, and serve as the main operational loop with external creative agencies (briefing, acquiring assets, ad trafficking, and delivering closed-loop performance feedback)
• Configure and execute native in-platform A/B tests (creatives, copy, bidding) and manage specialized campaign formats such as Partnership Ads / Branded Content to surface actionable performance insights
• Extract daily campaign performance metrics, build regular performance reports in Excel, and partner with the Marketing Analytics team to track key metrics and inform optimization decisions
• Act as a proactive liaison between Integrated Marketing, Operations, Product, and external partners. Drive project timelines, chase down cross-functional dependencies, and keep marketing initiatives moving forward seamlessly

Requirements:

• • Platform Mastery: Proven expertise in Meta Ads Manager (Facebook/Instagram), Snapchat Ads, and TikTok Ads Manager. Exposure to Reddit and Twitter/X is a plus
• • Budget & Scale Ownership: Demonstrated experience directly managing meaningful daily/monthly ad spend in-platform with clear accountability for performance KPIs
• • Testing & Campaign Mechanics: Practical experience setting up native in-platform A/B tests and managing Partnership/Creator/Branded Content ad execution
• • Data & Analytics Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivots, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, campaign metrics tracking) and performance reporting
• • Organization & Proactive Drive: Highly organized, detail-oriented, 'Type A' proactive work style-comfortable taking ownership, following up aggressively with stakeholders, and managing tight campaign workflows
• • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• • Hands-On Paid Social Experience: 1-3 years of direct 'hands-on-keys' media buying experience in paid social channels (B2C performance marketing focus preferred)
• • Mobile App User Acquisition (UA) experience in gaming, app-based B2C, or consumer tech
• • Understanding or hands-on use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, mid-journey tools) to optimize daily workflow efficiency
• • Familiarity with Real Money Gaming (RMG), sports betting, or iGaming industries
• Basic knowledge of SQL or data visualization tools (Tableau)
