IRIS Software Group is seeking motivated and results-driven Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join their growing sales team. These roles are critical in driving pipeline growth and supporting revenue generation through strategic prospecting and lead qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and research target accounts using Account-Based Selling strategies
- Develop and execute personalized outreach campaigns via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Engage strategic accounts and specific buyer personas
- Generate interest and schedule meetings for Account Executives
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to refine outreach strategies and messaging
- Maintain accurate activity tracking and CRM updates
- Respond promptly to inbound leads (demo requests, content downloads, webinar attendees, etc.)
- Qualify leads based on product/service fit and prospect needs
- Conduct initial discovery and phone screening calls
- Determine appropriate product, service, or sales team alignment
- Schedule “Payroll Consultation” meetings with the correct Sales Representative
- Maintain accurate documentation in CRM
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging new prospects
- Highly organized and metrics-driven
- Ability to handle objections and uncover customer needs
- Collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach
- Experience in payroll, HCM, or B2B sales is a plus
