Provide executive leadership for the department's administrative, financial, and operational functions.
Develop and oversee departmental budgets, financial planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.
Lead strategic planning initiatives that support the department's clinical, educational, research, and service missions.
Direct human resources activities, including workforce planning, faculty and staff recruitment, onboarding, and organizational development.
Ensure compliance with university, College of Medicine, and regulatory policies and procedures.
Analyze operational and financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
Serve as a strategic advisor to departmental leadership on financial, operational, and organizational matters.
Collaborate with Service Line Administrators and institutional partners to support faculty scheduling, effort allocation, recruitment, budgeting, and operational initiatives.
Lead complex, confidential, and time-sensitive projects while managing competing priorities and organizational objectives.
Represent the Department and College of Medicine in internal committees and external collaborations as appropriate.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field plus ten (10) years of progressively responsible administrative, finance, or budget experience
Preferred Qualifications: Master's or terminal degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field plus eight (8) years of progressively responsible administrative, finance, or budget experience.
