- Reviewing and analyzing financial data to prepare and file tax returns
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to optimize tax positions for clients
- Validating compliance with tax laws and regulations to minimize risks of non-compliance
- Preparing tax documents and consulting on regulatory compliance
- Utilizing accounting practices and financial statement analysis to support tax planning and strategy
- Building meaningful client connections and anticipating their needs
- Navigating complex tax regulations and providing guidance on tax strategy
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Master's in Commerce
- 3+ years of experience in the field of US Individual taxation
- Advanced understanding of US Individual tax returns (1040)
- Intermediate understanding of US Foreign Trust filing requirements (Form 3520)
- Preparation of Tax Returns/workpaper preparation (Pdf and excel)
- High-quality work adhering to professional standards
- Understanding of cross-border tax implications
- Ability to keep up-to-date with IRS technical and legislative changes
- Advanced/strong knowledge of MS/Google/Adobe enterprise solutions
- Proficient in English
