About this role
Role Overview
- Improve technology supporting the VA through incident and event management
- Collaborate with enterprise monitoring and operations teams
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Knowledge Articles
- Ensure Event Management dashboards are configured accurately
- Confirm maintenance schedules and business impact hours
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with systems administration and operations
- 5+ years of IT documentation support such as standard operating procedure creation, requirements capture, playbook creation/updating, etc.
- 5+ years of experience monitoring and troubleshooting with two or more of the following APM tools, including AppDynamics, DynaTrace, Splunk, Aternity, or SolarWinds
- 2+ years of experience with monitoring and troubleshooting of applications logging to Splunk
- Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Math and 5+ years of experience in a professional environment or 13+ years of experience in a professional environment in lieu of a degree.
