Underwrite large risks within the Property portfolio through risk selection and underwriting practices, including risk management, industry assessment, risk appetite, and rating methodologies.
Administer and control underwriting rules and guidelines, as well as insurance laws and regulations.
Maintain direct contact and relationships with brokers for technical insurance and/or reinsurance negotiations: review submitted proposals, gather and evaluate information to effectively underwrite the risk involved and ensure compliance with the group's guidelines.
Conduct commercial visits to brokers or prospective clients to seek new business and/or maintain portfolio risks.
Interact with major reinsurers and brokers.
Monitor and track SLA and KPI indicators.
Requirements
University degree in engineering, business administration, or related fields.
Advanced/fluency in English is a plus.
Knowledge and experience in underwriting large risks.
Experience with facultative reinsurance.
Ability to work within broad authority limits on highly complex tasks.
