Prospect strategic targets with a focus on companies developing products utilizing xenograft biomaterials (fresh tissue, fixed tissue, and collagen), identifying opportunities aligned with our processing and manufacturing capabilities
Develop Key Account Strategies aligned to clients’ xenograft sourcing, processing, and commercialization needs, positioning Evergen as a strategic CDMO partner
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their requirements and internal processes
Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration (R&D, regulatory, and manufacturing) to develop and deliver customized xenograft-based solutions
Translate xenograft platform capabilities (e.g., decellularization, fixation, collagen processing) into customer-specific value propositions
Identify and shape opportunities where xenograft materials can replace or outperform alternative biomaterials, driving differentiation for customers
Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring favorable terms for the company and high levels of client satisfaction
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
Prepare for and represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other networking events to promote our capabilities and expand our client base
Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and sales performance to senior management
Leverage CRM tools to maintain documentation of account planning, prospects, and pipeline development
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the medical device industry, including at least 2 years within a medical device CDMO environment
Deep understanding of xenograft biomaterials, including fresh tissue, fixed tissue, and collagen (fibrillar, solubilized, or formulated), and their applications in medical devices
Experience working with xenograft sourcing, processing, or manufacturing (e.g., decellularization, sterilization, or collagen processing)
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
