Role Overview
- Research and identify high-potential prospects within the legal sector to build a robust outbound pipeline.
- Execute multi-channel outreach strategies, including cold calling, personalized emailing, and LinkedIn networking.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect pain points and qualify leads based on their needs and budget.
- Partner closely with Account Executives to transition qualified opportunities and ensure a seamless handoff.
- Maintain meticulous records in the CRM to track activity, conversion rates, and territory insights.
- Stay current on legal industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to act as a subject matter expert.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience as an SDR or in a similar business development role.
- Direct experience working within the LegalTech industry or selling professional services to law firms.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly quotas for qualified meetings and pipeline generation.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate conversations with senior partners and General Counsel.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of outreach without sacrificing quality.
- Experience using modern sales tech stacks (Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- A background in law or a JD degree is a significant plus.
- Experience selling SaaS solutions specifically into the "Big Law" market.
