Sales Executive, Customer Development

CJ Logistics America is hiring a Sales Executive, Customer Development to drive new business and grow client relationships through logistics sales, including warehouse and transportation management. The role develops sales strategies, manages proposals and RFPs, and cross-sells services while coordinating with internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies for WM and TM sales to achieve revenue targets
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Actively promote and cross-sell additional service channels (WM, TM, FF, VAS) to existing and potential clients
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies
• Prepare and present proposals and presentations tailored to client requirements, demonstrating the value of our services
• Work closely with internal teams, including operations and marketing, to ensure alignment and execution of business strategies
• Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates to management on progress against goals and market insights
• Perform other related job duties as assigned or required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a client-facing role or account management, with demonstrated success in sales leadership
• Proven experience selling engagements valued at $5 million or more annually
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage across vertical and horizontal levels within organizations
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex, multi-faceted assignments
• Problem-solving skills with an aptitude for identifying strategic solutions to enterprise-wide challenges
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales process management tools
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc...)
• Demonstrated ability to engage and establish credibility with customer management at multiple levels in discussions to explore, understand and document their goals, priorities and challenges (voice of the customer)
• Demonstrated proficiency and 5+ years with a successful track record in utilizing strategic/solution selling skills to navigate complex, long lead time sales cycles to grow existing business

• MBA or Master's Degree preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish and/or Korean) preferred
