Senior Product Marketing Manager

Existence is hiring its first Senior Product Marketing Manager to define how the company explains its AI-led time intelligence product. The role owns positioning, messaging, launches, consumer research, and cross-functional product marketing to drive signups, activation, engagement, and retention.

Responsibilities:

• Own Existence's product positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks as the product shifts to an AI-led experience
• Turn consumer language and member insights into a clear product narrative for each audience
• Own product and feature copy on the website, including pricing, FAQs, and "How it works" pages, working with our UX writer and web team
• Keep messages consistent across web, app, email, social, PR, and paid channels, in partnership with Brand
• Plan and run go-to-market for product launches and feature releases, including launch-day assets
• Set clear criteria, with Product, for which releases get an announcement and through which channel
• Write the message strategy for feature announcements and launch emails; Lifecycle owns the flows, targeting, and sends
• Brief Content, Brand, and PR teams on each launch, and build the enablement materials they need, including help content and hands-on tutorials
• Act as a voice of the member in Product planning, and help bring market insight into roadmap discussions
• Stay embedded in Product's planning and release process so you're current on all net new functionality, and maintain a single source of truth for feature messaging that the rest of the team can rely on
• Agree on shared metrics with Product for launches and messaging, such as activation, adoption, engagement, and retention
• Advise on onboarding and first-run messaging so new members reach value quickly
• In partnership with our Consumer group, you plan and run consumer research using sound methods: interviews, surveys, concept and message tests, and win/loss or churn studies
• Run message and value-prop A/B tests on landing pages, paid ads, and in-product surfaces, and turn results into decisions
• Partner with Consumer Insights and Data Analytics to read product usage and funnel data (Mixpanel, HubSpot) and share what you learn with Product and Marketing
• Build and maintain a SWOT and competitive landscape for Existence across time tracking, productivity, wellness, and AI assistant apps, and refresh it as the market moves
• Use that landscape to position each feature in a way that is clearly differentiated and easy for members to understand at a glance
• Equip Product, Marketing, and leadership with competitive insights that inform roadmap, pricing, and launch decisions

Requirements:

• 6+ years in product marketing, including 3+ years at a consumer subscription app (B2C, freemium or paid)
• A track record of positioning and launching consumer products, with results you have measured and optimized
• Experience building product marketing at an early-stage company, or as its first PMM
• Excellent writer, able to turn complex features into simple, emotional, memorable messages
• A portfolio of positioning, launch, and website or in-app copy you wrote or developed the message strategy for
• Hands-on experience planning and running consumer research, and knowing which method fits which question
• Experience running messaging and landing-page A/B tests and making decisions from the results
• Comfortable with product analytics and CRM tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or HubSpot
• Builds trust with Product and Engineering and holds a point of view in roadmap discussions
• Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity at a fast-moving startup
• Fluent with current AI tools for research, writing, and analysis
• Experience marketing AI assistant or agent products to consumers
• Background in health, wellness, productivity, or self-improvement apps
• Experience moving a product from waitlist or beta to general availability
• Experience with pricing and packaging research (for example, Van Westendorp studies)
• Has worked with creator-led or founder-led brands
• Hands-on with Webflow, Figma, or HubSpot
