Strategic Events Marketing Manager

Samsara is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, helping organizations that depend on physical operations use IoT data to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability. The Strategic Events Marketing Manager will support end-to-end production for customer conferences, global programs, and hosted events, managing programming, vendors, stakeholders, production logistics, and live event execution.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate keynote and breakout planning and execution across key internal stakeholders, Samsara’s main production vendor and venue partners
• Support content production by building timelines, scheduling rehearsals, sourcing vehicles and equipment, and managing exec schedules and internal/external speakers
• Review venue contracts to ensure production needs are being met
• Oversee multiple events and programs with overlapping schedules
• Bring energy, creativity, and new ideas to build a successful event experience
• Assist in managing expo production needs including coordinating details between internal stakeholders, vendors, and the venue

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in event management/production
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
• Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, navigate shifting priorities, and consistently deliver against deadlines without compromising execution quality
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to build scalable processes, documentation, timelines, and operational frameworks
• Experience using AI tools to work more efficiently
• Strong communication, negotiation, and budget-management skills, with the ability to work across all levels of an organization
• Extraordinary attention to detail and able to run multiple concurrent project demands within established timelines
• Leverages AI tools to work more efficiently and resourcefully, streamlining tasks like run-of-show documentation, vendor communications, and logistical planning
• Ability to work independently in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
