Sales Development Representative

RGP provides on-demand talent, consulting, and outsourced services to help organizations achieve their business goals. The Inside Sales Representative drives revenue growth through lead generation, account research, targeted outreach, customer engagement, pipeline management, and sales support.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through account research, lead generation, outbound outreach, call campaigns, and follow-up with existing and prospective customers
• Schedule qualified client meetings and prepare account insights, background research, and business development materials that support effective sales conversations
• Manage a high-volume pipeline of inbound and outbound customer interactions across phone, email, web inquiries, and sales campaigns
• Support outside sales teams and account leaders with quote preparation, order follow-up, CRM updates, campaign tracking, pipeline visibility, and timely customer response
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, prospects, internal partners, and sales stakeholders to drive repeat business and improve engagement quality
• Identify upsell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities during customer conversations and route qualified opportunities appropriately
• Track activity, maintain accurate customer and opportunity data, and meet daily and weekly performance metrics in a fast paced sales environment

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of inside sales, business development, recruiting, sales support, or account management is required
• Strong communication skills, professional phone presence, and the confidence to engage prospects, customers, and internal stakeholders
• A competitive, goal-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset with motivation tied to activity, performance, earnings, and career growth
• Ability to research accounts, identify business insights, manage follow-up, and translate information into actionable sales opportunities
• Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, data accuracy, and ability to manage competing priorities in a high volume environment
• Comfort using Salesforce or similar CRM tools, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, and sales enablement resources to support outreach, reporting, and account planning
• Curiosity, adaptability, accountability, emotional intelligence, and a collaborative, team-first approach
