Sales Development Representative

Trimble is a global technology company that connects the physical and digital worlds through solutions for construction, geospatial, transportation, and other essential industries. The Sales Development Representative will generate outbound leads, engage decision-makers, qualify opportunities, support account executives, collaborate with marketing, and maintain accurate sales data in Salesforce.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead outbound lead generation by engaging prospective buyers in meaningful dialogue to uncover early-stage opportunities
• Partner with Sales Account Executives to build targeted call strategies, achieve monthly quotas, and expand new business pipelines
• Engage directly with key construction and maintenance decision-makers across multiple channels to analyze operational gaps and deliver tailored digital solutions
• Collaborate closely with marketing teams to optimize lead qualification and drive high-impact promotional campaigns
• Master and maintain the sales tech stack in Salesforce to ensure seamless opportunity tracking, data accuracy, and workflow efficiency

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in outbound phone-based account development, sales, or customer service, preferably in software
• Proven ability to confidently interact, communicate, and build rapport with decision-makers at all professional levels
• Demonstrated success as a self-starter with the discipline to manage high-volume daily outreach, research, and lead qualification
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office, and advanced web search strategies
• Previous experience navigating enterprise software sales cycles
• Experience utilizing multiple sales software platforms outside of Salesforce and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC) industries
