Social Media Marketing Intern

Skipit is a small, mission-driven startup based in Boston that offers a browser extension for skipping triggering scenes or reading short summaries while watching content. The Social Media Marketing Intern will own video for the company’s social feed by developing concepts, editing and posting short-form content, establishing recurring formats, and collaborating with the content team.

Responsibilities:

• Shoot, edit, and post short-form video across platforms
• Turn rough ideas into finished, on-brand videos on a consistent schedule
• Help develop recurring formats and a voice for the feed
• Work closely with our content team, bring your own creative instincts

Requirements:

• Strong short-form editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, whatever your tools are) and a reel or sample clips to show
• Comfortable working independently and hitting a consistent posting cadence
• Genuine interest in mental health, media literacy, or trauma-informed storytelling is a big plus
• Students and early-career editors/creators welcome
