Senior Product Marketing Manager, Private Equity

Juniper Square is an operations partner providing technology, data, and fund administration services for private markets. The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Private Equity will own private equity messaging, positioning, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, and go-to-market strategy while partnering with Sales, Demand Gen, Product, and Customer Marketing. The role also leads marketing for assigned software applications and uses AI tools to accelerate research and content development.

Responsibilities:

• Own Juniper Square's strategy, positioning and messaging for the private equity segment, articulating a differentiated value proposition for each stakeholder in the PE buying group; CFOs, COOs, Heads of Finance and Fund Operations, Investor Relations, and technical evaluators
• Build the PE persona and industry playbooks: buyer and influencer roles, priorities, objections, and content needs at every stage of the sales journey
• Work directly with Sales leadership and top sellers to co-create the collateral that wins PE deals: executive briefs, ROI narratives, competitive battlecards, and stakeholder-specific decks for each stage of the buying process
• Act as the internal expert on PE deal dynamics, playing an active role in shaping messaging and strategy on high-stakes opportunities
• Conduct deep voice-of-customer research through customer interviews, win/loss analysis, and Sales feedback to continuously enrich our understanding of PE personas and use cases
• Own competitive intelligence for the PE segment and disseminate actionable insights to Sales, Growth Marketing, and Product so the whole go-to-market motion stays aligned around how PE firms actually buy
• Use AI agents and tooling as core infrastructure to research accounts, synthesize customer and competitive inputs, which measurably accelerates the production of messaging and enablement assets
• Apply judgment to what AI produces: know where automation accelerates the work and where human insight matters
• Partner with Demand Gen to ground PE campaigns in strong, persona-relevant messaging and provide the inputs that drive message-market fit
• Work with Product to translate complex platform capabilities into clear, resonant value propositions for PE buyers
• Support Customer Marketing in surfacing the PE customer stories that validate our messaging with real-world proof
• Own a subset of Juniper Square's apps as their dedicated product marketing lead, from positioning through go-to-market
• Lead launches for your apps: own the messaging, positioning, and launch plan that bring each release to market
• Own the feedback loop for your apps, gathering signal from Sales, customers, and the field and channeling it back to Product to shape the roadmap
• Own competitive intelligence for your apps, tracking competing products and arming Sales with the positioning and enablement to win

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in the private equity ecosystem is required (at a PE firm, a fund administrator, or a company selling into PE); you understand how these firms operate, who the buyers are, and what they care about
• AI Fluency: experience using LLMs, agents, and AI automation tools to measurably accelerate your work, and understanding where human judgment is critical
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; the ability to translate nuanced market insights into clear, compelling GTM artifacts
• Experience in B2B product marketing or GTM strategy roles is advantageous but not required, with a strong bias toward supporting Sales and influencing deal outcomes
