Childrens Book Launch Social Media Marketing Internship (2-4hrs/week)

Kelly Tutors is a dynamic edutainment company that blends tutoring, classes, study skills, humor, and cultural commentary to help kids learn in engaging ways. This is a remote internship role focused on supporting the social media marketing efforts for a children’s book launch, providing hands-on experience in social media marketing within an education-focused, playful, and entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and creating engaging content tailored to parents, caregivers, and young learners across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant channels
• Draft posts and captions, repurpose video clips, schedule content, monitor engagement, and suggest creative ways to highlight the book’s themes and related learning activities
• Collaborate with the founder to align content with brand voice and educational goals, track basic metrics, and explore low-cost promotional opportunities such as collaborations or communities

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Marketing, with an understanding of audience targeting and brand positioning
• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Content Creation and Digital Marketing, including basic familiarity with content planning, posting tools, and analytics
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, with clear, age-appropriate writing and the ability to adapt tone for parents and kids
• Interest in children's media, education, or edutainment, and comfort working with playful, humorous, and entrepreneurial content
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage a small weekly time commitment, and meet deadlines reliably
• Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and simple design tools (e.g., Canva or similar) is beneficial
• Previous experience in social media, marketing, or content creation for education, kids' products, or nonprofits is a plus
