Social Media Marketing Intern

Maverick MKG is a strategic event planning and marketing partner specializing in event execution and creative promotional services. The Social Media Marketing Intern role supports the company's digital presence and event-related campaigns by assisting with social media content creation, scheduling, engagement monitoring, and contributing to marketing strategies. This remote contract position provides hands-on experience in marketing for events and brand activations while working with experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with social media content creation, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement across platforms
• Helping execute social media marketing strategies, contribute ideas for campaigns, and perform basic research on trends and audience behavior
• Collaborating with the team on digital marketing initiatives, supporting reporting and analytics, and maintaining brand consistency in all communication

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation
• Candidates should possess skills in Digital Marketing and Marketing
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication
• Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) and basic analytics tools is beneficial
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a remote work environment are important
• Creativity, willingness to learn, and a collaborative mindset are highly valued
• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
