Executive Sales Representative

Americana Worldwide is a leading provider of trade show logistics, specializing in efficient and reliable transportation services for exhibitors and event organizers. They are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to help expand their customer base by identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term client relationships in the logistics industry.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, prospecting, and industry research
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to consistently grow revenue and expand the customer base
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while achieving individual sales goals
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with exhibitors, exhibit houses, event agencies, manufacturers, and other businesses requiring specialized transportation services
• Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding each customer's unique logistics needs and providing customized transportation solutions
• Conduct regular follow-ups to strengthen client relationships and identify additional business opportunities
• Present Americana Worldwide's services professionally while clearly communicating our competitive advantages and value proposition
• Coordinate customer onboarding and ensure a smooth transition from the sales process to operations
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure customer expectations are communicated clearly and executed successfully
• Remain involved throughout the shipment lifecycle to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
• Assist in resolving customer concerns and collaborate internally to provide timely solutions
• Proactively identify opportunities to expand customer accounts through additional services and transportation solutions
• Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and long-term retention
• Develop strategic account plans for key customers to support continued growth
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, sales activities, and forecasts within Salesforce
• Keep customer information, contacts, and sales pipeline current and organized
• Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates to management regarding pipeline activity and revenue projections
• Develop a strong understanding of the trade show and event logistics industry, including venue requirements, show schedules, and transportation challenges
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to effectively position Americana Worldwide's services
• Continuously expand industry knowledge through research, customer interactions, and ongoing learning

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales, logistics sales, freight brokerage, transportation, or account management
• Proven ability to develop new business and build lasting customer relationships
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong relationship-building and consultative selling abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously
• Problem-solving mindset with a customer-first approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Communications, or a related field preferred
• Experience selling within the logistics, freight, transportation, or trade show industry is highly preferred
• Experience using CRM software (Salesforce preferred)
