Sales Development Representative

Trajectory Recruiting is a leading technology solutions provider that helps organizations simplify and secure their IT environments. They are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to accelerate outbound sales efforts and create new opportunities for the sales team by engaging prospects and scheduling qualified meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and research target accounts and decision-makers
• Execute high-volume outbound prospecting through phone, email, and LinkedIn
• Conduct cold calls and navigate gatekeepers to reach key stakeholders
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of outbound opportunities
• Schedule qualified discovery meetings for company sales executives
• Test and optimize messaging, call approaches, and outreach sequences
• A/B test emails and prospecting campaigns to improve response rates
• Track activity, conversion rates, and pipeline metrics
• Continuously refine outreach strategies based on results
• Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand business needs
• Gather relevant information to determine fit and sales readiness
• Ensure meetings handed off to sales are properly qualified
• Maintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking
• Contribute ideas to improve prospecting effectiveness
• Assist in developing outbound campaigns and target account strategies
• Support future channel and partner development initiatives as the organization grows

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development Representative (BDR), Lead Generation, or Outbound Prospecting role
• Experience conducting cold outreach through phone, email, and LinkedIn
• Demonstrated success generating meetings and pipeline through outbound efforts
• Experience working within a CRM platform
• Experience selling technology solutions, SaaS, cloud services, managed services, cybersecurity, telecommunications, or other B2B technology offerings
• Familiarity with MSP, cloud, hosting, or IT services environments
• Experience using sales engagement and prospecting tools
