Sales Development Representative

Amplify is a leader in K–12 education, providing innovative teaching and learning experiences. The Sales Development Representative plays a crucial role in delivering a best-in-class experience to prospective customers and collaborates with various teams to drive revenue for the sales organization.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to inbound leads in a specified region within target response times through high-velocity calling and email strategies
• Qualify leads using rigorous criteria to determine program and service fit, document conversation details, and schedule appointments for Account Executives to advance the sale
• Consult with prospects to identify their needs and align them with solutions and services
• Provide valuable resources to help prospects find high-quality instructional materials
• Develop expertise in K-12 purchasing cycles as they relate to school districts, Title I, and federal funding guidelines
• Identify opportunities to meet the needs of all key stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, and students
• Prioritize leads and accurately maintain activity in relevant CRM systems
• Participate in weekly & bi-weekly meetings and share relevant market feedback
• Continuously invest in your product and territory knowledge to show up as a credible, informed resource for internal and external customers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or related experience
• 1-3 years of inside sales or sales development experience, preferably within the education market
• Highly responsive to inbound inquiries, goal-oriented, persistent, diligent, and reliable, with strong probing skills
• Previous experience in the education market
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel to onsite meetings 10%
• Ability to advance knowledge through self-study, training, and experience
• Familiarity with CRM systems and administrative best practices
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions
• Strong creative-thinking and analytical skills
• Demonstrated success managing a high volume of leads with a consistent and disciplined outbound cadence
