Sr. Manager, Enterprise Systems Sales

Nutanix is seeking a Sr. Manager, Enterprise Systems Sales to lead a dedicated team of Systems Engineers in its Systems Engineering & Solution Sales organization. The role focuses on supporting complex customer evaluations, developing team talent, resolving technical escalations, strengthening customer and partner relationships, and contributing to regional sales growth.

Responsibilities:

• Support the field SE team in complex evaluations, troubleshooting, and challenging customer environments
• Recruit, hire, and mentor new Systems Engineers, fostering their professional development
• Serve as an escalation point for pre-sales and post-sales technical issues in the territory
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and channel partners
• Act as a floating Systems Engineer, filling in for existing team members during resource conflicts or vacations
• Ensure ongoing channel enablement and collaboration with technical teams of channel partners
• Manage Systems Engineers in the territory, overseeing expenses and conducting quarterly check-ins
• Achieve established sales objectives and contribute to the team's revenue growth within the first year

Requirements:

• • 5+ years of experience as a Sr./Pre-Sales Systems Engineer
• • 2-3 years of pre-sales management experience
• • Knowledge of AI, Cloud Native and Kubernetes
• • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
• • Proven leadership qualities with a humble approach and a proactive mindset
• • Ability to effectively troubleshoot in complex customer environments
• • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• • Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time within the region
• This position is remote but requires candidates to reside in Seattle or San Francisco (Bay Area) to be close to customer sites
