Ravanty Tech Consulting, Inc. is a fast-growing Microsoft Modern Work & Security designated partner and Cloud Solution Provider helping businesses transform through Microsoft Secured AI-driven cloud solutions. They are seeking a dynamic, experienced Solutions Engineer to lead Microsoft 365 Security engagements, focusing on technical hands-on delivery, designing, and implementing solutions across security domains. The role involves collaboration with technical teams and ensuring client success from initial vision through project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the successful delivery of Microsoft 365 Security initiatives for mid‑market and enterprise clients
- Design & Implement Security Solutions: Architect and deploy end-to-end Microsoft 365 security solutions across Identity, Device, Application, and Data domains. Leverage tools such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender (for Cloud Apps, Identity, Office 365), and Microsoft Purview (Information Protection, Compliance, DLP). Microsoft Sentinel (Threat Detection and Analytics) to meet clients’ security and compliance requirements
- Project Delivery: Lead the hands-on implementation of Microsoft 365 security projects for mid-size and large clients. Configure and integrate solutions following best practices and oversee technical execution according to agreed design specifications and timelines. Ensure a smooth handoff from pre-sales design into delivery and remain engaged to guarantee successful outcomes
- Client Advisory: Build trusted advisor relationships with client technical teams and executives. Provide expert guidance, recommendations, and best practices throughout project lifecycles. Continuously engage with clients to address challenges, adjust designs to changing needs, and ensure maximum value from our solutions
- Collaboration: Work closely with Ravanty’s CTO, project managers, and business development managers to coordinate delivery efforts. Contribute to proposals when asked
- Thought Leadership: Stay up-to-date on the latest Microsoft 365 and Azure security capabilities and industry trends. Proactively learn new technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, emerging security features) and incorporate them into solutions. Contribute to the development of new service offerings and internal knowledge sharing
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft cloud consulting and implementation, delivering Microsoft 365 Security solutions
- Proven track record designing and implementing security architectures for mid-to-large organizations
- Deep subject-matter expertise in the Microsoft 365 Security stack, including Microsoft Entra ID: architecture and integration (SSO, Conditional Access, Identity Governance, Entitlement Management, Access Packages)
- Microsoft Purview: Information Protection (sensitivity labels), Data Loss Prevention (DLP, including replicating policies from other DLP systems), data governance, and compliance capabilities. Data Classification/Labeling/Discovery Implementation & Operationalization, Microsoft Purview across Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint Online
- Microsoft Intune: Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM), including securing Windows, iOS, and Android endpoints
- Microsoft Defender: Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Office 365 – to protect SaaS applications and email/collaboration platforms
- Microsoft Sentinel (Threat Detection and Security Analytics): Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Sentinel is a strong advantage, including KQL, analytics rules, playbooks, and integrations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to effectively present technical concepts to diverse audiences and build relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities. Adept at assessing complex IT environments (identity, messaging, collaboration, device management, security infrastructure) and designing solutions that align with business needs and compliance requirements
- Self-motivated with proven leadership in driving projects to completion
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements
- A positive attitude towards learning and innovation is essential
- Experience with M&A migrations, MIM, AVD is a strong plus but not required
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration scenarios such as mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures (tenant transitions, consolidations, separations)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot (AI-driven productivity) and Windows 365 (Cloud PC) solutions, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). Ability to incorporate these into broader cloud architectures is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) or similar identity management/automation tools
- Exposure to competing endpoint management or security platforms (e.g., JAMF, VMware Workspace ONE, etc.) and non-Microsoft collaboration suites (Google Workspace, Lotus Notes/Domino, etc.), especially in the context of migrating to Microsoft 365
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-500, AZ-500, SC-series, or Azure/M365 Certified Enterprise Administrator) are highly valued
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Experience serving as a technical expert during pre-sales cycles. Conduct assessments, demos, whiteboard sessions, and workshops to identify client needs and craft solutions that align with their business objectives. Articulate the value, benefits, and trade-offs of proposed architectures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, helping to win new business and expand the pipeline
