DXY Insight Database is seeking a Sales Account Manager to expand business in key markets such as North America. The role involves developing new customer opportunities and driving complex software sales through a consultative approach.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new customers in North America according to company objectives, manage the complete sales process, and achieve customer expansion targets
- Participate in relevant pharmaceutical and biotechnology conferences, industry events, networking sessions, and customer activities in North America. Develop regional sales plans and achieve customer partnership goals
- Drive the complete customer engagement process, from initial contact, needs discovery, and solution discussions through contract signing and successful closing
- Understand and organize target customers’ needs for pharmaceutical intelligence, data services, and related solutions. Communicate customer requirements with teams in China and support the advancement of commercial partnerships
- Regularly collect and provide feedback on frontline market insights to help the company continuously improve its products and service offerings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Professional proficiency in both English and Chinese is required
- 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical companies, biotech, CRO/CDMO, pharmaceutical consulting, pharmaceutical data services, healthcare investment, or related industries
- 2–5 years of B2B sales, business development, customer success, or market expansion experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- Proven ability to proactively develop customers and independently manage customer communications, business meetings, and commercial follow-up
- Demonstrated interest in building a long-term career and contributing to the continued expansion of our North American business
- Candidates with backgrounds in biotechnology, life sciences, medicine, or related fields are preferred
- A basic understanding of drug discovery and development, business development transactions, clinical development, or the Chinese pharmaceutical market is preferred
- Candidates with professional proficiency in both Chinese and English who are currently based in Boston, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, or other major U.S. life sciences hubs are preferred
