Healing Innovations, Inc. is a Nashville-based medical-technology company focused on building robotic neuro-rehabilitation systems. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to own a geographic territory and win new independent inpatient rehabilitation facility accounts for their Rise&Walk InClinic robotic platform.
Responsibilities:
- Own a defined territory; prospect, qualify, and close net-new independent IRF accounts
- Run consultative discovery and product demonstrations (primarily by video), bringing genuine clinical credibility to conversations with therapists and rehab leadership
- Carry an annual new-logo quota and maintain a healthy, well-qualified pipeline (target ~5 qualified discovery meetings per month)
- Spend roughly one field day per week on late-stage meetings and site visits; attend 2-4 industry conferences per year
- Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and deliver accurate, honest forecasts
- Partner with marketing, clinical, and sales-development teammates to convert pipeline into closed business
- This is a true new-business development role. Success requires proactively creating opportunities, opening new accounts, and driving complex sales cycles from initial outreach through contract execution
Requirements:
- Former clinical experience in physical rehabilitation; a licensed Physical Therapist (PT/DPT) is strongly preferred
- Hands-on clinical experience in an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) or long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) setting
- 2+ years of medical device, capital equipment, rehabilitation technology, or healthcare sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota. We hire proven sellers, not first-time sales hires
- Willingness to travel approximately 20-25% (field days, site visits, and conferences)
- Authorization to work in the USA (we do not sponsor H1B)
- Fluent in English
- Clinical experience in a setting that used rehabilitation robotics or other advanced rehab technology
- Capital-equipment or capital-budget experience (how facilities budget for and purchase capital equipment)
- Medical-device or capital-equipment sales into hospitals or inpatient rehabilitation facilities
- Subscription / Robotics-as-a-Service or capital-lease sales experience
