Leader Bank is looking for exceptionally dedicated team members to join one of the country’s fastest growing community banks and mortgage lenders. They are seeking a 1031 Exchange Business Development leader to source new business for their 1031 QI, establishing and building long-term relationships with a robust portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Create business opportunities through self-sourcing clients suited for 1031 exchange and digital escrow services
- Leverage networks, centers of influence, and business development acumen to acquire business and build meaningful relationships
- Build a robust portfolio of national clients and manage the relationships until services are delivered and beyond
- Work with clients on IRC Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges and manage their own portfolio of transactions
- Use deep industry knowledge to gain new business and ensure client satisfaction
- Develop new relationships by providing seminars on IRC Section 1031 to attorneys and real estate professionals
Requirements:
- 15+ years' experience in and industry knowledge of 1031 exchange business
- 15+ years' experience in business development and relationship management, including gaining new deposit business
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong presentation skills
