Continuous is a company that focuses on automation and task scheduling solutions. The Digital Marketing Manager will own the acquisition funnel for VisualCron and drive customer acquisition through effective digital marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Own the acquisition funnel for VisualCron, a Windows-based, on-premises automation and task scheduling platform
- Lead acquisition marketing, website design, trial program, and purchase conversion
- Drive measurable new customer acquisition, improve trial-to-purchase conversion rates, and scale marketing programs across multiple channels
- Map the current trial-to-activation journey, identifying friction points from download through installation and initial job creation
- Assess performance of the current digital acquisition and conversion motion and identify near-term improvement opportunities across channels
- Establish relationships across the Head of VisualCron, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Support
- Prioritize and execute the most impactful actions to improve trial conversion, feature discovery, technical onboarding, and purchase readiness
- Develop and own the integrated digital marketing strategy for VisualCron, spanning SEO, paid media, retargeting, and email nurture
- Plan and execute performance marketing campaigns across paid search and paid social channels
- Partner with the team managing the website to strengthen and scale VisualCron.com
- Implement analytics to monitor the full journey from traffic to download to install to activation then purchase
- Build a 12-month roadmap for VisualCron’s digital acquisition engine with milestones across trial volume, conversion rate improvement, channel expansion, and new customer growth
- Build and manage pre-purchase email nurture programs that guide trial users through activation milestones, surface relevant use cases, and accelerate free-to-paid conversion
- Conduct and maintain ongoing SEO strategy
- Collaborate with Customer Success to identify early user blockers and translate them into marketing, content, and UX improvements
Requirements:
- Proven experience driving new customer acquisition and trial-to-purchase conversion for a technical software product
- Direct accountability for traffic growth, trial volume, and new account creation
- Deep understanding of how IT professionals, sysadmins, DevOps engineers, and automation engineers discover, evaluate, and purchase on-premise tools through self-serve trial and independent technical validation
- Ability to use data to diagnose funnel issues, uncover hidden trends, validate hypotheses, and continuously optimize
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside Product and Sales to align messaging, surface insights, and drive outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to find creative marketing solutions within a limited budget envelope
- Ability to deliver on commitments, thrive in changing environments, and uphold high accountability for yourself and cross-functional partners
