Manufacturing Engineer – H-1 Project
Bring your experience and ideas to lead the completion of complex projects that support tactical goals and defined technical objectives aimed at improving manufacturing technology for existing or new designs, concepts, processes, systems, and tools. You will represent Production Engineering as a key manufacturing technical contact on projects and programs, coordinating manufacturing technology deliverables across functional organizations.
What you’ll be doing as a Manufacturing Engineer – H-1 Project :
Coordinate all tooling needs and movements in support of H-1 Program initiatives to include: Nigeria, SPINE, Lead Technology Integrator (LTI) and Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) efforts, or any future FMS needs.
Lead the completion of complex engineering projects that support tactical milestones and technical objectives.
Apply experienced manufacturing engineering principles, theories, and concepts to improve manufacturing technologies for existing or new designs, processes, systems, and tools.
Serve as a key manufacturing technical contact on programs, coordinating manufacturing technology deliverables across functional organizations.
Execute defined tasks, develop resource estimates, track progress metrics, and follow communication plans to meet project objectives.
Coordinate with design engineering and operations to conduct producibility analyses and manufacturing trade studies for cost-effective solutions.
Manage mid-sized projects using disciplined project management methodologies from initiation through closure.
Collaborate with H-1 program management, operations, and functional leaders for review and verification of engineering work.
Indirectly oversee and mentor a small team of 3 in support of H-1 Production Line Transition (PLT).
Skills You Bring To this Role:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology. Related bachelor's degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
Minimum of 6 years of aerospace manufacturing engineering or related manufacturing experience (such as planning, programming, tooling).
Prior experience in one or more areas: aero structures, electrical/mechanical systems, rotor systems, gear/transmission systems, or tool/equipment integration.
Proficiency in product lifecycle and manufacturing systems, such as CAMS, Bedvue/Lightweight Viewer, Enovia, and/or OMTR Lifecycle
Strong ability to identify safety/quality risks and drive immediate resolution.
Proven project management capability across all execution phases including coordinating deliverables between engineering and operations teams.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office tools.
Knowledge of military or commercial aircraft systems, preferred.
Prior experience working within Premier, preferred
