UPS is a Fortune Global 500 organization that is seeking a Business Development Supervisor to drive the company's growth by identifying and acquiring new business opportunities. The role involves developing effective sales strategies, leading prospecting efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance client experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients through various channels
- Generate new leads and opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other outreach methods
- Collaborate with marketing teams to leverage inbound leads and campaigns
- Conduct compelling presentations to showcase our products/services and highlight their value proposition
- Effectively communicate the benefits of our solutions to potential clients
- Complete pricing analysis and develop pricing proposals for sales opportunities, balancing customer needs, competitive positioning, and profitability requirements to drive new business growth
- Understand clients' needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of product components, design, features, and benefits when communicating product features or design and tailoring the message to meet customer needs
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
- Negotiate terms and conditions with potential clients to secure new business
- Close deals efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a focus on new business acquisition
- Strong understanding of logistics and the ability to articulate our value proposition effectively
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Willing to travel

- Strong collaborator who can work effectively across Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Implementation, and Customer Success teams
- Self-starter with a high level of accountability and ownership
- Relentlessly results-oriented, with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding business objectives
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
