Octave is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to join our Team. The role involves identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the mid-market segment, while working closely with prospective clients to demonstrate how Octave's QMS solution can help them achieve their business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect, identify, and generate new business opportunities within the mid-market segment
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, and presentations to key stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with prospective clients to understand their business challenges and needs
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing
- Collaborate with marketing, sales development representatives (SDRs), and customer success teams to drive lead conversion and customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting data in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and ETQ’s product offerings
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B software sales, preferably within SaaS, QMS, compliance, or related industries
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of the sales process and ability to drive deals to close
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively engage with decision-makers and stakeholders at mid-market companies
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required)
