The Sales Development Intern role is a remote internship that supports the growth of the customer base through lead generation, outreach, and collaboration with the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Researching and identifying potential leads
- Initiating outreach via email, social media, and calls
- Qualifying prospects for the sales team
- Assisting in scheduling meetings and demos
- Maintaining accurate records in CRM tools
- Following up with prospects to nurture interest
- Collaborating with sales leadership to refine messaging
- Improving outreach strategies
- Learning best practices in AI security sales
Requirements:
- Candidates should possess strong Lead Generation and Sales skills, with the ability to identify, qualify, and move prospects through the early stages of the pipeline
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospects, respond to inquiries, and build professional relationships
- Candidates should possess foundational Sales Management capabilities, such as organizing outreach activities, tracking interactions, and supporting sales processes
- Comfort with remote work tools, CRM or sales enablement platforms, and basic productivity software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation tools)
- Interest in AI, cybersecurity, or technology solutions, with a willingness to learn about AI governance and security concepts
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage time effectively in a remote internship setting
- Current student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred, but other backgrounds with relevant skills are welcome
