Mindbody is a technology company that supports wellness entrepreneurs and enhances experiences through innovation. The Lead Product Manager will define and execute the product strategy for data and AI/ML products, managing flagship analytics products and developing new AI-powered solutions to leverage the world’s largest wellness data set.
Responsibilities:
- Define the product strategy for company-wide data products — determining which reporting/analytics and AI-powered products to build to maximize the value of Playlist's wellness data, and the infrastructure required to deliver them at scale
- Manage and grow our flagship analytics products while building net-new products from zero to one — concepting, validating, and shipping into white space
- Lead the development of AI-powered products such as agent-driven reporting and the creation of new data assets, including modeling and aggregating data for machine learning
- Continuously improve the user experience of data and AI/ML products, balancing the realities of a probabilistic AI environment with the rigor of a deterministic data environment
- Validate proofs of concept directly with customers, spending regular time on customer calls to ground decisions in real needs
- Lead ideation, evaluation, definition, and prioritization of the squad roadmap, scoping the highest-ROI opportunities for a cross-functional team of engineers
- Build alignment with stakeholders across the organization, seeking a range of perspectives and soliciting honest feedback in a heavy enterprise stakeholder environment
- Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to inform key product decisions, and drive measurable impact alongside a senior engineering team
Requirements:
- You have a track record shipping impactful, well-loved data, analytics, or AI/ML products, with experience spanning both data science and product management
- You have proven zero-to-one experience — concepting and shipping new products into white space — alongside the ability to scale and optimize mature products
- You are deeply analytical and product-intuitive, fluent in defining, querying, and interpreting your own data, and you anchor decisions in clear impact metrics
- You have hands-on AI experience and are comfortable leveraging AI tools to build products. You don't need to be an AI specialist, but you understand the trade-offs between probabilistic AI and deterministic data systems
- You are comfortable with heavy stakeholder management in an enterprise environment and have a strong track record as a communicator, influencer, and cross-functional partner
- You have a strong understanding of user experience and can drive UX quality even without a dedicated designer on the squad
- You're experienced with agile discovery and development and working collaboratively with strong, senior, primarily backend engineering teams
- You have at least 4+ years of product management experience, with the seniority to operate independently and drive value with a senior team
