Scout Global is an open-source observability and analytics scale-up seeking a Growth Marketing Manager. In this role, you'll own the demand generation engine, translating complex data infrastructure capabilities into compelling narratives while driving measurable growth and executing marketing strategies across various channels.
Responsibilities:
- Own and execute the growth marketing strategy across demand generation, content, SEO, paid, community, and product-led growth (PLG) motions
- Drive measurable pipeline contribution: leads, MQLs, SQLs, and revenue-influenced metrics with full-funnel visibility
- Build and manage campaigns across channels, email, paid search, social, developer communities, and events, optimising continuously for CAC and conversion
- Develop compelling content and positioning that speaks to engineering, DevOps, and platform teams, from blog posts and technical guides to case studies and landing pages
- Lead product marketing activities: launches, messaging frameworks, competitive positioning, and sales enablement Materials
- Own the company's presence in open-source and developer communities (GitHub, Slack, Reddit, Hacker News, technical forums)
- Build and scale an ABM programme targeting mid-market and enterprise engineering organisations
- Establish marketing infrastructure: CRM hygiene, attribution modelling, reporting dashboards, and growth experiments
- Partner closely with Sales on pipeline quality, lead scoring, and account-based plays
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to amplify releases and surface customer stories that influence roadmap conversations
- Represent the brand at industry conferences, webinars, and developer events
Requirements:
- 5–8+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on demand generation and growth
- Proven track record of building and scaling marketing programmes that directly contribute to pipeline and revenue in technical or developer-focused companies
- Experience marketing to engineering, DevOps, platform, or data infrastructure audiences; you understand how developers buy and what earns their trust
- Familiarity with the observability, logging, monitoring, or data analytics ecosystem (e.g. Datadog, Grafana, Elastic, Splunk, OpenTelemetry) is considered a strong advantage
- Comfortable with open-source GTM motions: community-led growth, freemium funnels, and developer advocacy
- Hands-on with modern marketing tooling: HubSpot/Salesforce, GA4, paid platforms, SEO tools, and marketing attribution
- Strong analytical instincts; you make decisions from data, run structured experiments, and can clearly articulate what's working and why
- Excellent written communicator; you can write with clarity and technical credibility for an engineering-first audience
- Highly motivated, resourceful, and energised by building something meaningful from the ground up
