MRSL Group is a rapidly expanding independent distributor of electronic components seeking a Business Development Manager. This role focuses on building customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving profitable sales growth across various markets without territory restrictions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow new customer relationships across OEM, EMS, CEM, and distribution channels
- Identify and convert opportunities within allocated, obsolete, excess, and hard-to-find component markets
- Build a strong pipeline of profitable business opportunities
- Source and supply electronic components through global independent distribution networks
- Manage RFQs, negotiate pricing, and maximise GP opportunities
- Develop strategic supplier relationships to support customer demand
- Drive profitable sales growth through effective account management and new business acquisition
- Consistently achieve and exceed GP and revenue targets
- Leverage market intelligence to identify emerging opportunities and supply chain challenges
Requirements:
- Proven success generating strong GP figures within independent distribution/open market sourcing
- Experience buying and selling: Hard-to-Find Components, Excess Inventory, Obsolete Components, Allocated Components
- Established network within the electronic components industry
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of delivering results
- Comfortable operating within a highly performance-driven environment
