Panthr is a zero-BS talent matchmaker company focused on enhancing the recruitment process. They are seeking a Product Manager who will own a product area end-to-end, engaging in customer discovery, requirements development, and collaboration with engineering and design teams to ensure successful product delivery and iteration.
Responsibilities:
- Own one product area end-to-end: customer discovery, problem definition, PRDs/specs, delivery partnership with engineering and design, post-launch measurement
- Run a continuous discovery cadence and maintain an opportunity-solution tree for the product area in partnership with Marketing
- Write and maintain product specs that engineering can build from without daily back-and-forth; partner with design on flows; partner with QA/clinical on test plans
- Define and track product-area KPIs (activation, retention, time-to-value, clinical outcome where applicable); report weekly to the Director
- Partner with Regulatory and Clinical on feature classification and ensure the documentation trail is clean
- Partner with Marketing and Sales on launch positioning, new markets, sales enablement, and customer-facing release notes
- Run sprint reviews, backlog grooming, and release planning with the assigned engineering pod
- Work day-to-day with the existing engineering team: bring engineers into discovery early, write specs they can build from, respect their estimates and architecture guidance, and resolve scope questions directly rather than escalating every one to the Director
- Use AI tooling for discovery synthesis, spec drafting, competitive analysis, and pattern-spotting in customer feedback
Requirements:
- Fluent in both B2B and B2C product motions — has developed product in both and can speak credibly to the differences in user research, sales cycle, pricing, success metrics, and feature trade-offs in the other
- Has contributed to product innovation, not just feature delivery — has taken at least one product from generative research through prototyping, validation, and launch
- Consumer research hands-on — has personally run generative customer-discovery interviews, synthesized findings into opportunity statements, and used them to shape (or stop) product work. Can show interview notes, an opportunity-solution tree, or a research synthesis from real work
- Continuous discovery is a weekly practice — maintains a live opportunity-solution tree and ties hypotheses to measured outcomes
- 5–8 years in product management with at least 3 years owning a product area end-to-end (not a sub-feature or a sub-component)
- Has developed at least 3 substantial software features or product launches that drove a measurable outcome — must be able to walk through the discovery, the spec, the build, and the post-launch numbers
- Has developed in a regulated health context (HIPAA at minimum; FDA SaMD, HL7/FHIR, or claims-data work a strong plus) — can speak clearly about how regulatory and clinical constraints shaped a specific product decision
- Has shipped in a software/SaaS context with modern instrumentation — knows how to set up product analytics, define events, and read funnels
- Fluent writing PRDs and specs that an engineering team can build from — can produce one on demand from a customer-problem prompt
- Has run large customer interviews/research (n=100+) with documented insight synthesis
- Comfortable reading API documentation, SQL queries, and basic system diagrams; comfortable challenging an engineering estimate constructively
- Has owned a measurable outcome (activation, retention, conversion, clinical-outcome metric) and moved it — knows the before and after numbers cold
- Have 5–8 years of Product Management experience and a proven track record of owning a product area end-to-end, from customer discovery and problem definition to launch, measurement, and iteration
- Deeply customer-centric and practice continuous discovery, using customer research, interviews, and data to drive product decisions and shape roadmap priorities
- Comfortable operating at the intersection of health-tech and software, balancing regulatory and clinical requirements with modern product development practices and rapid iteration
- Highly collaborative product leader who partners effectively with engineering, design, clinical, regulatory, marketing, and commercial teams to deliver measurable business and customer outcomes
- B2B SaaS product leadership in health/sport tech, digital health, EHR-adjacent software
- Direct experience with FDA SaMD pathway, and post-market surveillance
- Has shipped features in a regulated context and worked through the model-validation and bias-testing discussions
- Translates between clinical/regulatory rigor and software iteration without losing either — can explain to engineering why a feature needs full traceability, and to clinical why a feature can ship behind a feature flag and learn
- Uses AI as a working partner inside the product workflow — synthesizes interview transcripts, drafts PRDs from problem statements, runs competitive-feature analysis, and pattern-matches across customer feedback — and can show measurable time savings on a real product area
