Senior Software Engineer

Bit Bit Press is an early-stage startup focused on transforming content into knowledge through an AI-native platform. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the architecture and build of a new AI-first iOS app and to develop AI-native features across their platform.

Responsibilities:

• Own the architecture and build of a new AI-first iOS app, integrating with the Bit Bit Press platform
• Build AI-native features end to end across the Bit Bit Press platform (Node, TypeScript, React, React Native, AWS, etc.)
• Work directly with our founders and customers
• Closely collaborate with team members dedicated to investing in your growth
• Opportunities to learn on the job from industry veterans and explore different aspects of the business
• Have a flexible work schedule and work remotely

Requirements:

• Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
• Proven ability to architect software systems from the ground up
• Proficiency in one or more modern front-end framework: React, React Native, Angular, Vue.js, etc
• Experience with web services of all kinds, using cloud infrastructure, and building scalable web products
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and able to use them to ship faster while maintaining code quality
• Ability to measure, diagnose and improve website performance
• An eye for design and delivering polished products
• Clear, transparent communicator
• Adaptable to the shifting priorities and ambiguity with an early-stage startup
