Dentsu is a global marketing and advertising agency seeking a highly organized and communicative Technical Project Manager. The role involves serving as the primary contact for US-based clients while overseeing an offshore team of Developers and Technical Business Analysts, ensuring smooth delivery and alignment on project progress.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary face of the team for our US-based client. Manage client expectations, facilitate meetings, provide regular status updates, and ensure their requirements are clearly understood by the offshore team
- Actively monitor what the offshore Devs and Tech BAs are working on. Maintain full visibility into their task lists, sprint capacities, and daily bandwidth to prevent burnout or underutilization
- Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to proactively address, escalate, and resolve any project roadblocks, technical issues, or scope changes
- Drive project momentum. Track action items, follow up on deliverables, remove blockers, and ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality
- Act as the liaison between the offshore team and the client's senior leadership. Communicate regularly regarding team performance, workload distribution, project health, and budget utilization
- Ensure the team is following agile best practices (or the client’s preferred methodology) using project management tools like Jira
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of proven technical project management experience specifically in the data engineering space — things like data pipelines, ETL processes, data warehousing, and/or BI tool implementations
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Tableau
