As a Procurement Project Manager, you will lead the development and execution of strategic sourcing and supplier development for large-scale projects, ensuring they meet cost, quality, schedule, and risk objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute project-specific procurement strategies aligned to cost, schedule, risk, and technical goals
- Lead procurement across full project lifecycle; own deliverables and project accountability
- Lead efforts to identify, assess, and onboard strategic suppliers (capacity, capability, quality) to support project requirements, supported by supply chain, engineering, and business resources
- Manage supplier performance (KPIs, scorecards, corrective actions) and partner with category teams to reduce risk
- Lead RFQs/RFPs for complex components and systems
- Perform cost analysis (TCO, should-cost) and negotiate contracts aligned to margin targets
- Partner with engineering, project management, quality, and operations
- Align procurement to project schedules and critical path
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (capacity, single-source, geopolitical)
- Drive cost reduction and value engineering; track savings and budget adherence
- Monitor KPIs (cost, delivery, supplier readiness) and report to stakeholders
- Ensure policy and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business
- 5+ years procurement and project/program experience on large-scale ($100M+) projects
- Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier development, contract negotiation, cost analysis
- Experience with global sourcing, new product introduction, and ERP Systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Capabilities in project management, risk management, and stakeholder communication
- Preferred regulatory knowledge (ISO, AS9100)
- Preferred certifications: PMP, CPSM/CIPS, or Six Sigma
