Hoptroff is a company specializing in precision timing infrastructure for critical industries such as financial markets and telecoms. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to build a sales pipeline from scratch, engage with potential customers, and support the Enterprise team with qualified leads.
Responsibilities:
- You'll be building a pipeline from scratch - cold calls, email, LinkedIn, whatever it takes
- You'll qualify prospects and hand warm opportunities to our Enterprise team
- You'll be the first voice many potential customers hear from Hoptroff, so you need to be sharp, curious, and relentless
Requirements:
- Have a couple of years of sales or customer-facing experience (new grads welcome)
- Are genuinely competitive and motivated by hitting numbers
- Can hold a confident conversation with senior stakeholders
- Communicate clearly in writing and on a call
- Are organised enough to manage a full pipeline in a CRM
- Are based on the US East Coast
- Grit is a requirement
- Salesforce experience is a plus
