Wound Care Advantage is the leading partner for hospital networks looking to reclaim ownership of their wound care programs. They are seeking a Pipeline Development Executive to build and manage a national pipeline of hospital partnerships, engaging with key decision-makers and collaborating with senior executives. The role involves outreach, relationship-building, and maintaining accurate records to drive business development efforts in the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities:
- Build, own, and grow a national pipeline of hospital, IDN, and GPO prospects through cold outreach, referrals, and healthcare database research
- Conduct initial qualification conversations with hospital administrators, C-suite leaders, and clinical decision-makers to identify fit and interest
- Schedule and support discovery calls and introductory meetings with WCA's senior executive team, ensuring a seamless and informed handoff
- Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to pipeline reporting and forecasting
- Collaborate with Marketing on outreach campaigns and contribute to messaging that resonates with hospital leadership
- Stay sharp on CMS regulatory trends, hospital outpatient program economics, and the competitive landscape to inform your outreach strategy
- Represent WCA at healthcare conferences and industry events as needed
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare business development, hospital sales, or lead generation
- Knowledge of hospital outpatient programs, wound care, or specialty service lines
- Experience engaging with hospital administrators, C-suite contacts, and clinical leadership
- Proven ability to qualify opportunities and execute clean, informed handoffs to senior sales leadership
- Relationship-driven with a strategic mindset and a true hunter mentality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient with CRM systems and familiar with healthcare sales processes
- Self-starter who thrives independently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with IDN or GPO contracting structures (Premier, Vizient, HealthTrust, etc.)
- Understanding of CMS compliance considerations affecting hospital outpatient services
