FGS Global is a leading global strategic communications and public affairs communications consultancy, helping clients navigate complex environments. They are seeking an HR Technology Business Partner to lead the technology strategy for the HR function, focusing on enhancing HR systems and ensuring they align with business goals. This role involves both hands-on administration of HR technology platforms and strategic partnership with HR leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technology partner to HR / People leadership, aligning the HR technology roadmap with People strategy and business priorities
- Translate HR business requirements into scalable technical solutions, build cases for change, and prioritize a portfolio of enhancements and projects
- Advance HR's technical capabilities and digital maturity — identifying opportunities for automation, AI, analytics, and self-service
- Own day-to-day administration, configuration, and optimization of HiBob — workflows, fields, permissions, document flows, time-off, performance, and reporting
- Manage releases, new-feature adoption, data integrity, and HiBob's integration with payroll, identity, finance, and other downstream systems
- Serve as the escalation point for complex HiBob issues and the design authority for changes
- Take full ownership of MyFGS, the employee experience platform on Staffbase — content architecture, configuration, governance, user management, and platform administration
- Partner with Internal Communications to deliver targeted employee journeys, campaigns, and a high-quality digital employee experience
- Manage the Staffbase relationship, roadmap, integrations, and analytics on adoption and engagement
- Ensure HR systems meet data privacy, security, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR and other applicable regulations) in partnership with Information Security and Legal
- Establish governance, access controls, and audit practices across the HR technology estate
- Drive accurate, trusted people data and reporting / analytics that support decision-making
Requirements:
- Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in HR technology / HRIS, with demonstrated ownership of enterprise HR platforms
- Hands-on administration and configuration expertise with HiBob (or a comparable modern HRIS such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or BambooHR, with the ability to own HiBob)
- Experience owning or administering an employee experience / intranet / internal communications platform — Staffbase strongly preferred (or comparable, e.g., SharePoint-based intranets, Simpplr, Firstup)
- Proven ability to partner with senior HR stakeholders and translate business needs into technical roadmaps
- Strong understanding of HR data, integrations (APIs / middleware), reporting, and data privacy / security obligations
- Track record of leading projects and managing vendors in a global, matrixed organization
- Experience in a professional services or global consultancy environment
- Experience working within HR Business Services
- Familiarity with adjacent People-tech (ATS, learning, performance, payroll, identity / SSO)
- Exposure to analytics / BI (e.g., Power BI) and automation / AI applied to HR processes
- Experience supporting multiple regions and a globally distributed workforce
