Director of Product Management

LawnStarter is the nation's leading on-demand marketplace for lawn care and outdoor services, seeking a Director of Product Management to lead their product team. The role involves shipping value across growth, retention, and profitability by building a great product for customers and Pros while managing a growing team of Product Managers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and multiply three already-strong PMs — and hire more as we grow
• Own the growth/retention/profitability tradeoffs on one shared roadmap — what gets built, what waits, what we kill
• Turn one proven vertical into a repeatable playbook across services, designing for customers and Pros as one system
• Own how AI and agents show up in what we build — for our team, our customers, and our Pros
• Be the product leader the rest of the company trusts to make the right calls

Requirements:

• Experience in product management, particularly in a marketplace environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and multiply talent
• Ability to prioritize effectively across multiple goals: growth, retention, and profitability
• Experience in building and scaling products across multiple services
• Familiarity with AI and agent-driven platforms
• Strong cross-functional partnership skills
• Ability to think in systems and understand second-order effects of decisions
• Excellent scoping and user experience focus
• Experience in the home services industry
• Background in working with distributed teams
• Experience with AI technologies and their application in product development
