UtiliSave LLC is a leader in utility bill auditing with over 35 years of experience, seeking a Marketing Content Strategist to enhance their brand and establish their CEO as a thought leader in the industry. The role involves developing content strategy, managing the content calendar, and driving brand awareness through various marketing channels.
Responsibilities:
- Develop deep fluency in UtiliSave's audit methodology, tariff expertise, and client success stories to produce content that communicates our value with authority and precision
- Own and execute the full content calendar for social media, email campaigns, sales materials, and marketing collateral aligned with company growth goals
- Lead content creation that promotes our brand strategy and ensures consistent messaging — honest, expert, and tenacious across all touchpoints
- Drive SEO/SEM, paid media (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn), email marketing, and website content to build brand awareness and generate leads
- Turn research on market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior into sharper, more effective content
- Support PR opportunities, speaking engagements, and partnerships to elevate brand authority and advance UtiliSave's standing as the definitive thought leader in utility cost recovery
- Track content performance across channels; use data, testing, and AI-assisted workflows to continuously improve quality, reach, and effectiveness
- Serve as brand guardian for all content — internal and external — ensuring every piece reflects UtiliSave's commitment to accuracy, transparency, and professionalism
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- Solid working knowledge of SEO/SEM, paid media, and performance analytics
- Exceptional writing skills — clear, precise, and persuasive — with the ability to translate complex concepts
- Self-starter with a proactive and creative mindset who is as tenacious about results as the team they are supporting
- Proficiency with AI-assisted writing tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Jasper, or similar) and the judgment to use them without compromising brand voice or accuracy
- Portfolio or writing samples required; applications without samples will not be reviewed
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop) and basic video editing
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar)
- Experience with website CMS platforms (WordPress, Squarespace, or Wix)
- Highly organized; able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines independently
