They are seeking a Business Development Representative to prospect and generate new sales opportunities specifically within the funeral home industry, helping these businesses enhance their community connections through obituary marketing solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting (100–120 phone calls per day) to funeral home businesses
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and set appointments with decision-makers
- Develop a working knowledge of the funeral home industry and local market dynamics
- Clearly articulate and understand the value of LocaliQ’s Obituary audience, rate programs, and technology solutions for obituary placement
- Accurately document activity, notes, and outcomes in CRM tools
Requirements:
- A track record of high achievement or a strong desire to begin and excel in a sales career
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A naturally curious mindset with a passion for learning how businesses operate
- A competitive nature with a strong drive to meet and exceed measurable goals

- Comfort handling objections and rejection daily
- Previous experience demonstrating the ability to meet or exceed expectations
