The Sr Business Development Manager will develop strategic relationships with MSSP partners, drive joint marketing campaigns, and support partner performance to enhance the Cortex platform's deployment and usage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with assigned MSSP partners, ensuring alignment on joint business plan and revenue targets
- Equip MSSP partners with comprehensive training, tools, and resources to effectively sell, deploy, and support our Cortex platform
- Co-develop joint marketing campaigns with MSSP partners to drive lead generation, brand awareness, and pipeline growth
- Lead quarterly pipeline and bookings reviews, setting clear targets for new customer acquisition, competitive displacements, and expansion opportunities
- Provide ongoing support to partners and customers to ensure successful Cortex deployments and usage
- Leverage your deep knowledge of Palo Alto Products to craft, construct, and execute successful partner services that fuel growth within our partner network. This includes spearheading the design of innovative partner services and refining solutions through project initiation
- Build reports, executive narratives, conduct analysis independently on partner performance
- Be a go-getter who is able to get cross-functional teams motivated to drive aggressive pipeline and booking goals
- Has strong relationships within the channel community to help accelerate pipeline
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of SOC operations and MSSP business models
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue, managing pipeline, and fostering strategic MSSP relationships
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, capable of engaging executives and technical teams
- Experience with Security technologies such as SOAR, SIEM, EDR solutions, etc
- Proven experience working with MSSP's with Service definition, Architecture build, and Service delivery
- Ability to analyze complex problems and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolution
- Management consulting experience with focus on channel acceleration
